Overview

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED K3500PA is positioned as a balanced mid-range laptop for everyday work, office tasks, multitasking, and light creative use. In this tested configuration, it combines an Intel Core i5-11300H processor, Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, 16 GB RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. The strongest point is the OLED display quality for the class, while the main trade-off is that graphics performance is focused on daily workloads rather than demanding gaming.

Design and Build

The laptop uses an aluminum lid and a plastic main chassis. The overall build feels solid for its segment, and the Quiet Blue color gives it a more distinctive look than standard black or gray models. Side bezels are slim, and the hinge design keeps the profile practical for daily office and home use.

Display, Audio, and Webcam

The 15.6-inch Full HD OLED panel is a key advantage, with strong contrast and rich color reproduction. The source review reports up to 400 nits brightness, with 100% sRGB and 98% AdobeRGB coverage, which is useful for content work in addition to normal productivity. Indoors, visibility is comfortable, but the glossy finish can reduce usability in bright outdoor conditions. The laptop also includes Harman Kardon stereo speakers and a 720p webcam.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The keyboard uses an island layout with a numeric keypad and white backlighting. Key sizing and feedback are described as comfortable for regular typing, while the shorter-height arrow keys may require adjustment for some users. The touchpad supports everyday navigation and includes an integrated fingerprint scanner for quick sign-in.

Performance

With the Core i5-11300H (4 cores, 8 threads), 16 GB RAM, and SSD storage, this configuration handles office applications, multitasking, and basic creative workflows well. Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 is suitable for light graphics tasks and casual workloads, but it is not meant as a high-end gaming platform. For the target audience, performance is balanced and practical.

Ports, Wireless, and Battery Behavior

Connectivity includes USB 3.2, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, microSD, and a combo audio jack, plus two USB 2.0 ports on the opposite side. Wireless support is modern with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The 63 Wh battery is reported at around 9 hours of web browsing and up to 10 hours of 1080p video playback in light-use conditions, while heavy workloads drain power much faster. Under load, the hottest zone is the bottom panel, and noise remains generally acceptable for day-to-day scenarios.

Verdict

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED K3500PA is a sensible choice for users who want a 15.6-inch laptop with a high-quality OLED screen, comfortable typing, and reliable daily performance. Its main strength is display quality in a mid-range package. The main compromise is graphics capability and some legacy USB 2.0 connectivity, but overall it is a practical machine for work, study, and light content creation.
